Mount Gay Rum - Brandons Master Plan

The existing Headquarters of Mount Gay Distilleries Ltd is located on the Spring Garden Highway, adjacent to the Bridgetown Port. The operation
has grown organically over the years as the company has developed into a leading Rum producer. Our clients engaged us to develop a Master Plan for the refurbishment and future development of their property.

We conducted a thorough assessment of their operations and space requirements and from this study prepared a phased master plan to be implemented over 3 years. The design presents a new vehicular entrance to serve the corporate offices and visitors centre and separate it from the Industrial traffic. The Corporate offices and the associated parking are to be upgraded to reflect the premium brand image, while warehouse and bottling areas are to be reconfigured and upgraded to work more efficiently and provide enhanced facilities for staff. Initial construction costs estimates were prepared to allow financial planning. Implementation is due to start in 2015.
